edwards this place looks like a larger version of westminster (using alot of the same trannys). grand opening fri sept 2 2005

we are finally getting this scene some good stuff after years of slacking back, things are looking pretty good for vert roundwall skaters around colorado. denver is turning out to be quite a skate city with the skatecolorado ramp being bowled in inside the fallen warehouse; 2 team pain backyard pools done; the backyard vans clover is gonna be insane; north in longmont wally holiday via eric dawkins is building some sorta bowl (probably a mellow teaser); and tim altec (ft collins) is building another bowl in spring creek. then in the rockies the landscape architects (whom needed a swift kick in the ass) that built westminster are almost done with a vert pool coping tile bowl in edwards; grindline is almost done with a park in fairplay that has plenty of oververt and pool coping; and theres 2 backyard bowls around up there. got all that?

fairplay update grindline has expanded the design, added some features, and are trying to bust a break thru colorado park out for us. the changes are (so far): a deepend of 9 and 1. the entire bowl on a downhill slant toward the deep & cradlw. the cradle is a funnel cradle starting at 18 and slowly going down in size to 15 or 16 at the end. it will be a funnel cradle, so it will have a full pipe feel going into it. they have added an 11 ft oververt dish & the biggest bank wall they have ever built. there will be ballard hips going into the bank wall on each side. all trannies will have vert or just about go to vert...and it will be 100% pool coping all around.

champ again! jason mitchell has been killing it in the slalom skateboarding circuit and the Paris Slalom World Cup event was no exception. he placed third in the slalom and won the giant slalom recently over there in france.

mountains of trannys will be unveiled in denver at the fallen warehouse. saturday may 28th. for 5 bucks you can see the vid, hear live bands, and jam some pool coping on the kickass mini in the warehouse.

nederland is really interested in getting the word out about their skatepark. Its going to be in a sweet spot down by the reservoir, I think it will be place to visit for any serious skater. No mistakes are going to be made in the construction process. It will be well designed and built correctly. Town has already given us the land, even increasing the size of it from 7200 sq ft to 13,000 sq ft. This town needs a good kick in the ass and this park will be just what the doctor ordered!!

funtest The 2nd (annual?) Conspiracy Funtest will be going down Saturday, May 14th at the Trinidad Skatepark. The skating starts at 2pm. Then there's a showing of Conspiracy's "DIE.. SKATE OR DIE" video and the skatecolorado mountains of trannys video at the Droppin' In Skate Shop at 8pm.

team pain is slated to build a concrete park in winter park soon. them and a few other reputable park builders (wally and dreamland) are also bidding the longmont concrete park which will include a pool and flow course.

westminster is set to open may 11. 5:30 to 7 is the ceremony. now my friends and i will finally have a concrete vert bowl to skate.
